Australian artist Ian Strange has revealed his latest work for the 2014 Adelaide Biennial at the Art Gallery of South Australia.
The site-specific public installation is the structural recreation of the artist’s own 1920s suburban-style home in Australia. Positioned on the forecourt of the gallery, the house has seemingly fallen from the sky, the all-matte-black mass breaking the surface of the ground it sits on.
